Ballroom (International Tango Class) Registration

Registration for the Ballroom (International Tango Class) will open on December 15, 2025 at 8:00am EDT. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis, and any registrations received once the class reaches its capacity will be placed on a waiting list.
Class Size Limit: Maximum of 12 couples (24 participants). Registrations must be made as couples or partners. AGOAC reserves the right to make final decisions regarding enrollment.
Class Details:
• Start Date: February 2026
• Schedule: Every Sunday from 5:30pm to 6:15 pm
• Location: Crosby Memorial Community Centre

Mahjong Registration for January – March 2026

The Mahjong Google Form will open at 9:00 PM on Monday, December 8, 2025 and this is an evening registration and close at 10:00 PM on December 10, 2025.
Please note that we have some changes for the new term:
1. One session per day instead of two sessions. The daily participation limit is 20 people.
2. The session time will be extended to 3 hours instead of 2 hours.
3. Each member can only register for 1 session per week.
4. Those who are absent must notify the volunteers 48 hours in advance
The new schedule will be:
MJG1 Monday 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
MJG3 Wednesday 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
MJG4 Thursday 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
The registration is based on a first come first serve basis. Unregistered members will be placed on a waiting list.

Registration is on a first-come first-served basis. This class has a maximum limit of 25 participants. Registrations exceeding the participant limit will be added to the Waiting List.
Program Schedule: Every Wednesday from 2pm to 3pm
Location: Angus Glen Community Centre - OAC Room
Period : January 7 2026 to June 24 2026
Program Detail: This is a beginner class suitable for members with no experience with Qigong and Tai Chi. Following activities will be taught in this class:
1. 太極氣功十八式第一套
2. 太極氣功十八式第二套
3. 八段錦
4. 基本太極拳

Zumba Registration for 2026 January - March

The 2026 new Zumba registration form will open on December 3, 2025 (Wednesday) at 9:00 PM. You may join either one or both Wednesday and Friday classes, only that we have ten classes for the Wednesdays, which is $30, and nine classes for the Fridays, which will be $27.-
Venue: Crosby Lamplight room
Time: 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm
Wednesday class: January 7, 2026, until March 11, 2026
Friday Class: January 9, 2026, until March 6, 2026
There is a limited number of spaces available. Above the maximum may be placed on the waitlist. You will automatically receive a copy of your registration.

Thank You - 2025 Craft Sale was a success

As in previous years, several Craft Sale events were held in 2025. Thanks to the community support, we have another very successful year of raising funds for the Markham Food Bank through selling of handmade items by the Craft for Charity volunteers. On December 17, AGOAC Craft for Charity Group will present the 2025 donations of $13,000 to the Markham Food Bank.
Thank you to all donors and supporters, for your generosity and support of this meaningful initiative, and to the crafters for their continued contributions.
