Zumba Registration July 3 - August 28, 2024

The Google Form for Zumba Registration is now open. Classes will be held at Angus Glen Community Centre, AR1, 7:15 PM-8:15 PM for 9 weeks. Member cost is $27.00 for the 9 weeks payable before the first class starts on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. There are minimum participant registration requirements of 25 with a maximum to be determined.

Note: The registration period shown is 9 weeks because of the summer schedule. Daytime classes are not available because of the City's usage of facilities for summer programs.

2024 Summer evening Shape and Tone (SNT 1C)

Kindly reminder that last classes of Shape and Tone (SNT) will be on June 17, 2024. Then we will resume our Summer SNT 1C at AR1 from *7pm to 8:30pm* in the Monday’s evening starting from *July 8 until Aug 26*.
Summer SNT will be a drop-in program for AGOAC members only, so please present your membership cards every time you attend; wear comfortably with sneakers, bring water bottles, towels and weights, let’s keep moving!

Infomration Session: Old Age Security Benefits, Dental Care, Pension Plan

I am pleased to let you know that the Outreach Program has arranged a wonderful information session for all AGOAC members. The session aims to provide information on Old Age Security Benefits, Canada Pension Plan and Canadian Dental Care Plan to all members.

The information session will be on Friday, June 21, 2024 from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm.

The information session will occur at Angus Glen Community Centre, AR2 - 3.

The information session will be presented by:

Karunaalini Nilendran - A/Citizen Services Specialist, Citizen Services Branch (CSB) Service Canada / Government of Canada

We will truly appreciate your participation. We believe that you will benefit from the information session. No registration is required.

Summer Pickleball Drop-In sessions ( From Tuesday July 2 to Friday August 30, 2024)

The summer schedule is fast approaching.

Term is Tuesday July 2, 2024 - August 30, 2024

All summer sessions are drop-in sessions

Day: Tuesday (0700-0830)
Wednesday (0700-0830)
Friday (0700-0830)

Because these are drop-in sessions all players MUST show their current membership card at EVERY session.

If you have not paid the ball fee anytime since September 1, 2023 a $5.00 ball fee will be collected before you can register to play.

There are a limited number of spaces available and it is possible that you may not be able to play.

As much as possible there will be 1 Beginner court with a maximum of 8 players and 3 Regular courts with a maximum to be determined by the Co-Ordinator or designated monitor in the absence of the Co-Ordinator.





Registration for Foundation of Tai Chi in English (July 2 - Aug 27 2024)

This program will start on July 2, 2024 in public space 08:30 to 09;30 for beginner and in OAC 09:30 to 10:30 for improver, registration will be accepted on June 5 2024 Wednesday 9:00pm.

Summer 2024 Karaoke Registration - Saturday, June 1, 9:00am

Online registration for the Karaoke will be opened on June 1 at 9:00 am. It is on a first-come first served basis and every member is allowed to register for one session only. Every karaoke session (KRK1, KRK3, KRK5 and KRK7) has a maximum limit of 20 participants. It will have 10 registration spots and 10 walk-in spots. Every member can just walk in if you are unable to register.

Interested members, please go to the Karaoke page to register and the link will be opened on June 1st.



New Mahjong schedules for the rest of the Spring session

Due to the flooring replacement around AR4 (where Mahjong is currently taking place), we will need to move our meeting place to AR2/3, starting immediately until June 20, 2024. Given the limited availability of space, Mahjong will only be held on Tuesdays (12:30-4:30 pm) and Thursdays (12:30-4:45 pm).

Registration for the Badminton Summer 2024 will start on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 9:00 am on a first-come, first-served basis, with balanced court assignments, and members' past attendance records. Any registration received after the maximum participant limit will be added to the Waiting List.

Unionville Festival May 31 - June 2

Friendly reminder :
Unionville Festival will be held on Saturday June 1 and Sunday June 2.  Friday May 31 may also be busy with main street set ups, and lack of parking. Street closings are expected.

All AGOAC programs held at Crosby, OULCC, Train Station, Stiver Mill etc. May 31-June 2 inclusive are cancelled.



Monday May 20th - Victoria Day
