Craft for Charity group will hold their 1st craft sale at CF Markville to raise funds for Markham Food Bank that has been working hard to alleviate Food Insecurity and ensure all Markham residents have access to the food they need.
You are cordially invited to join and support us at this event. All proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Markham Food Bank. CF Markville will match the total sale amount up to $1,500.
Location: Food Court, CF Markville (Markville Mall) , 5000 Highway 7 East, Markham ON L3R 4M9

How exercise overcome Pain?

Presentation is in English by Dr. Kevin Haines, BSc, DC
Dr. Kevin will tell & demonstrate about how exercise is safe for osteoarthritis, what the guidelines recommend, and go through some sample exercises that will modify so that everyone will be able to participate comfortably! By using the correct exercise and movement to overcome pain, fight off functional decline, and ultimately live fuller lives!

AGOAC Movie Screening of Stop IT!

The Premiere Screening of the short film STOP IT! produced by the Filmmaking Group was held at Cineplex on February 11 with great success. MP Paul Chiang, Mayor Frank Scarpitti, Regional Councillor Alan Ho and Ward Councillor Amanda Collucci were all in attendance. MP Chiang and Mayor Scarpitti each gave a congratulatory message as well as key messages on the importance of raising awareness of Elder Abuse.
The Movie screening that was originally scheduled on Feb 26 at the Angus Glen Community Centre has been cancelled. Then to March 4th. But due to bad weather, it is now scheduled for Saturday, March 11, 2023. It is open to the public (Members and non-members are welcome)
