In keeping with the spirit of Christmas giving, the Line Dance Coordinating Committee is happy to collect non-perishable food items and also personal hygiene products (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.) for the Markham Food Bank (www.markhamfoodbank.ca).

17 per cent of Markham’s population is poor, having an income of less than $25,000 a year. For a family, nearly half of that is spent on rent. After bills, hydro and all the other things, food comes last and sometimes there is not enough.

According to the Food Bank, the most needed Food Items are:
• Small Bags of Rice • Canned Peas
• Crackers • Canned Milk
• Granulated Sugar • Juice
• Jam • Jello

Anyone who wishes to donate is welcome to bring any non-perishable items to:
- any line dance class, per Program schedules, until December 16, 2017
- the AGM to be held on December 17, 2017 at 3 pm in AR1
- the Line Dance Christmas party to be held on December 17, 2017 at 5 pm in AR1
