2020-2021 Charitable Work by Craft Group

The Annual Craft Sale organized by the Craft Group had been put on hold since 2020 due to the pandemic. However, it did not stop the group from doing charitable work. Last year, the group participated in the 1000 masks and contributed half of the total masks donated by senTV to Michael Garron Hospital.

In addition, the group participated in the Izzy Dolls project. In August 2021, after a long lockdown and when Ontario went into Step 3, 126 dolls and 45 baby hats were delivered to Health Partners International of Canada (HPIC), a charitable organization with a mission to increase access to medicine and improve health in vulnerable communities. The attached link is the letter from HPIC in appreciation of the group’s efforts.

More information about the Izzy dolls project can be found in the following 2 videos on senTV Channel on YouTube.
