AGOAC Filming Notice

Dear Program Coordinators, Monitors and Members of AGOAC,

Please take a moment to read this notice about the filming of two special projects that our Filmmaking Course will be undertaking over the next few weeks. The first project will be a 1 minute commercial for AGOAC and the second project is a documentary with the working title of “How AGOAC gain its popularity in Markham”. The following is to provide you with some information about the upcoming filming.

Filming is scheduled to start throughout each day in all four locations where AGOAC run its programs. These locations include:

- Angus Glen Community Centre
- Crosby Memorial Community Centre
- Old Unionville Library Community Centre
- Stiver Mill Community Centre

Over the course of this filming, the film crew will apply preventative efforts to minimize any disruption to the ongoing programs or classes and will be performing any of the following:

- Setting up lights and grip stands
- Setting up cameras and tripods
- Running wires from electrical outlets
- Recording audio and video as well as still photographs
- Filming positive and fun activities of AGOAC’s classes and programs
- Canvassing for participants to be interviewed
- Conducting Interviews

We encourage all AGOAC members to participate in these film projects and help increase the awareness of our club. Promoting the active and healthy lifestyles that AGOAC brings to the Markham community.
